The Rosefinch Spa was founded by owner Kristen Eber in January 2016. Kristen is a native Atlantan, she grew up in nearby Virginia Highland. She has been a licensed esthetician since 2002. During that time she has received advanced training in several areas of esthetics including skincare, facial peels and spa management. Kristen has received both local and national recognition for her waxing skills. Being half French, you’ll see many nods to France throughout the spa. Kristen lives nearby with her sweet little family and rescue pets where you will often find her reading or planning her next big global adventure.

Elizabeth Uselding, She/Her
Licensed Massage Therapist

Elizabeth is a veteran massage therapist who spent ten years in the medical massage field. She brings a unique blend of intuition, calm and healing knowledge to her treatments. Having moved to Atlanta recently, we are absolutely thrilled to have her with us. Elizabeth has received advanced training in several therapeutic modalities:

Emily Duke, She/Her
Thai Bodywork & Reiki

Emily is honored to be a vessel for healing, safety and connection. Her journey with Reiki and Thai Bodywork began as a way to to offer comfort and ease to loved ones in difficult times. To support her practice, Emily is a devoted student of somatic, embodiment, ecstatic dance, yoga and sound therapy. Emily is certified in Usui/Holy Fire II, IARP Member and is Trauma Informed.

Maureen Shaw, She/Her
Esthetician

Client care and satisfaction have always been the focus of Maureen’s career. She has a deep passion for skincare and loves finding the right skin solutions for all skin types. She has been on a personal journey with her own sensitive skin and is an expert on calming and soothing skin that might need some extra care. Prior to her transition to esthetics, Maureen had years of management experience that led to being promoted to the Rosefinch Spa Manager. She juggles all of these responsibilities with care and positivity. She’s a life-long learner and is continually attending classes and seminars and taking certifications to ensure she’s always learning the newest techniques and improving her skincare game.

Originally from Philadelphia, Maureen spent 10 years in Southern California before settling down in the South. She’s happy to be here and loves being a part of the Rosefinch Spa family!

Morgan Friday, She/He/They
Esthetician

Morgan Friday has been a licensed esthetician since 2019. They recently moved to Atlanta from Chattanooga. Morgan’s passion is to bring you holistic healing and services that fit into your life and change it for the better. Morgan is certified in all areas of esthetics as well as advanced certification in facial massage, sugaring hair removal, lash extensions, lash lifts, brow lamination, and brow shaping. ”When you lay on my table, know that we are starting a bond and a friendship that I hope to grow. Jessica Parilla, She/Her
Licensed Massage Therapist

Jessica graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage in 2020 after changing careers mid-life. Massage therapy helped her address her own stress, anxiety and burnout and she is honored to share that healing with others. She includes breathing techniques, visualizations and guided meditations in her sessions to take relaxation to an even deeper level. In her spare time, she is a science teacher and communicator in the fields of microbiology, medicine and public health.

Lauren Barcas, She/Her
Licensed Massage Therapist

Lauren’s massage journey began on Maui, Hawaii where she trained. It was a powerful time for her, connecting to the land and harnessing that energy into her massage practice. Her goal for every person who gets on her table is to break the cycle of stress that is embedded in our everyday lives and establish a reconnection within oneself. Pulling from modalities like Myofascial, Swedish, Lomi Lomi, Sports, Shiatsu, Lauren curates sessions focused on what the client needs most- healing, pain relief, or letting go of what no longer serves you. Her massages are all about grounding down, intention and flow while providing a safe space for the client to vocalize what techniques are working and what is not. Each massage with Lauren is about you, creating a moment in time where healing and connection can root down and grow.
